Teens Prayer for March 27th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, I let my friends down this week. Even Jesus' closest friends left Him when it mattered, and I am not different. Today I went quiet on someone who needed me. I told myself I was busy, and that was partly true, but it was not the whole truth. Forgive me. Tomorrow I want to send one simple message: "I am sorry I went quiet. Can we talk this weekend?" No long excuse. Just the truth. Thank You for small mercies today — a teacher who gave me grace, a sibling who shared the last of the leftovers, a song that helped me feel what I needed to feel. Receive what was real in my day. Stop the running tally in my head. Help me close my eyes and rest. Amen.
