Teens Prayer for March 22nd
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, there is the me everyone sees at school and at home, and then there is the me that wakes up at 2 a.m., tired and a little scared. I do not want to live split in two anymore. You know the hidden me better than anyone. I do not have to perform for You. I do not have to hide from You. Help me tell one real person this week how I am actually doing, not the easy answer I always give. Make me whole. Not impressive. Just honest. That is who You made me to be in the first place. Amen.
How to pray it
- Read it slowly. Move through this prayer one line at a time, out loud if you can, letting each phrase land before the next.
- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
