Teens Prayer for March 7th

A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Father, today I gossiped, once at lunch, and once in the group chat where it lives forever. I cannot delete the chat. I cannot take back what I said at lunch. I am sorry. Forgive the real sin. Not just the bad feeling. The words I said about a real person who could not defend themselves. I know You are faithful to forgive when I confess. Help me not do it again tomorrow. Help me think before I speak in the cafeteria. Give me the courage to say sorry to the friend who heard me, even if she did not flinch. I also want You to see the good parts. I helped my sister with her homework. I texted back the friend I had been avoiding. Do not let me only see my failures. Thank You that sleep is mercy. I give this day to You. Amen.
