Teens Prayer for March 1st
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, before I get out of bed and start the same loop I always start — the Bible talks about wind blowing through a garden and making everything come alive. Blow on my morning like that. Make me alive to today instead of just functional. I have school, the meet, an awkward conversation with a teacher, and dinner with extended family I do not see often. Walk me through each piece. Help me show up to the meet without my whole identity riding on it. Help me speak respectfully to the teacher even though I am annoyed. Help me ask my aunt a real question at dinner instead of just nodding. None of this is dramatic. It is the whole day, and I want to give it back to You whole. Hand me the morning. Amen.
How to pray it
- Read it slowly. Move through this prayer one line at a time, out loud if you can, letting each phrase land before the next.
- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
