Teens Prayer for February 29th

A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Father, You love me with a love that never ends. You drew me close with kindness that does not quit. Today is a bonus day I did not earn and did not deserve. It is just here. So I give it back to You. I had a complicated day. I dodged something I should have faced. I helped someone in a small way. Both things are still sitting in my heart. Take both. Forgive what was wrong. Receive what was love. I am tired. I am going to stop counting up my day and let You hold the rest of it. Help me sleep without making myself the project of one more late night. Amen.
