Teens Prayer for February 23rd
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, my friend has not answered me for two weeks. I keep checking my phone. I keep replaying old texts, trying to figure out what I did wrong. Maybe I did something wrong. Maybe I didn't. Either way, I am stuck in a loop, and it is not helping anymore.
You promised You would never leave me or give me up. Even if people in my life let me down, You will not. Help me reach out one more time without begging. Help me give my friend space to deal with their own stuff. Help me not hold it against them before I even know what is going on.
If they come back, good. If they don't, I am still loved. I am still known. I am still walking with You. Help me let this go. Help me forgive, even if I never get an answer. And please don't let this one thing become who I am.
Amen.
