Teens Prayer for February 19th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, sometimes I think nothing is going to get better. Your Word says that when Your people ask, You move to restore them. So I am asking. I have been quiet about it for a while because the asking felt embarrassing. The thing that has been heavy is still heavy. I cannot fix it. Most of it is not mine to fix. Restore something. Restore my sense that this season ends. Restore my appetite for the people in my life. Restore my willingness to keep doing the small things You have put in front of me. I do not need a sign. I need stamina. Hand me one good thought to hold tonight, and one ordinary action to do tomorrow morning, and let those be enough for now. The mood is not the final word. You are. Steady the next step. Amen.
