Teens Prayer for February 7th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, I am scared of disappointing my dad. Tonight's conversation is going to be hard. I have been imagining it going badly all day. Help me stop hiding and just walk into the room. I might cry. I probably won't say everything right. That's okay. He is not actually scary. He is a man who loves me and is tired. Give me one honest sentence to start with. After that, You handle what happens. I don't have to control the outcome. I just have to show up. Get me there. Then the next step is just the next step. Amen.
