Teens Prayer for February 5th

A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Father, before my head starts planning — You sent Your Son to be the Saviour of the world. That includes today. That includes the kid who walks the same hallway as me. Let me take the morning the way it actually is, not as I want it to be. Help me show up to first period awake and respectful. Help me not be the loudest person at lunch just because I'm nervous. Help me not pretend my work is done when it is not. You sent Jesus into a real, regular, messy world. Send me the courage to live inside a real, regular, messy day. Take my morning before I spend it on the wrong things. Amen.
