Teens Prayer for January 25th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, I did it again. The same mistake. I'm so tired of failing the same way that I almost stopped even praying about it. I feel like hiding. But hiding is what got me here in the first place. Pull me back into the light. Not just to feel sorry about this for the 100th time — to actually turn. Tonight, the app I keep going back to comes off my phone. For real this time. And I tell one person. Not to make an announcement. Just so the secret stops having power over me. Tomorrow I'll be tired and want it back. Tomorrow I might be praying this same prayer again if I have to. But You don't get bored of receiving me back. Help me not get bored of coming back to You.
Amen.
