Teens Prayer for January 10th
A short, Scripture-shaped teens prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, some days I'm not depressed exactly — just heavy. Like everything ahead is just more of the same, and I can't see past it. I don't always know how to lift my own head.
Your Word says there is a crown of righteousness waiting — a finish line that's real. I forget that sometimes. Tonight I need to remember the story doesn't end inside this week, inside this mood, inside this month.
The heaviness I feel is real, but it is not the last word.
Let me keep doing what's in front of me anyway. Pages of the book. Practice. Showing up at dinner. The friend who texted.
I don't need You to fix everything right now. I just need to know there's somewhere this is going, and that I'm being walked there even when I cannot feel the path.
Steady the next step.
Amen.
