Prologue Word Logos Prayer
A short, Scripture-shaped bible story prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Lord Jesus, in the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. You were before time. You made all things. Life and light came through You. The darkness has not overcome that light.
You did not begin at the manger. You were there before the world began. You became flesh and lived among us. Father, help me see You this way. You are not just a wise teacher. You are the Word through whom God made the world.
Let that truth go deep in me. Help me hear Your words with awe. Help me trust Your promises. Help me read the rest of John, knowing that the same Christ who made the worlds is the one who speaks to me.
Amen.
