Peter Heals Aeneas Prayer
A short, Scripture-shaped bible story prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Lord Jesus, Peter told Aeneas, 'Jesus Christ heals You. Rise and make Your bed.' And right away, Aeneas got up. The bed is the part that stays with me. He had not been able to do that small thing for eight years. Then his own hands made it up. The healing was Yours. Peter said so. The small chore was Aeneas's. Heal the long-paralyzed places in my life. Then put me back to my own small obediences. Help me see that getting well is not just the moment You move. It is also the plain work You give me to do after. Send Your power for the healing. Send Your simple words for the next right step. Aeneas got up. So can I. Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
