Joseph Reunited With His Brothers Prayer
A short, Scripture-shaped bible story prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Joseph's brothers sold him into Egypt. They meant it for evil, but You meant it for good. Joseph could have punished them. Instead, he wept and held them close. He gave up the right to get even. He trusted that You were in control. Make me like Joseph at my own reunions. The relative who has never said sorry after all these years. The friend who turned away and disappeared. Where healing is possible, help me do my part. No shaming. No keeping score. Just tears and open arms. The God of Joseph is also the God of my family table. Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
