Healing The Blind Prayer
A short, Scripture-shaped bible story prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, the man born blind could not answer all their hard questions. But he knew one thing. He had been blind. Now he saw. That was enough. Make my own testimony that simple and that strong. I do not need perfect words to tell what You have done. When I am pushed or doubted, help me say the one thing I know is true. The man was thrown out of the synagogue for speaking up. But You found him and showed him more of who You are. Keep finding the ones who have been pushed out of rooms for telling the truth about You. Make me one of them. Amen.
How to pray it
- Read it slowly. Move through this prayer one line at a time, out loud if you can, letting each phrase land before the next.
- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
