Hall Of Faith Hebrews 11 Prayer
A short, Scripture-shaped bible story prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, by faith Abel offered. By faith Enoch walked with You. By faith, Noah built. By faith, Abraham left home. By faith, Sarah believed. By faith, Moses chose. By faith, Rahab hid the spies. And by faith, so many others lived and died without seeing the promise come true in their lifetime. You commended every one of them. And You said they would not be made complete without us — that all the saints across all the years would reach the finish line together. I want to be part of that same great family. The same faith that sustained them is the faith You are forming in me right now. Some of what they were given to do, You have given to me to do in my small generation. Walk me through this life as one of them. Add my name to the longer list. Amen.

- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
Verses to pray
Pray these slowly, one line at a time. Scripture quoted from a public-domain translation.
By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he had testimony given to him that he was righteous, God testifying with respect to his gifts; and through it he, being dead, still speaks.
