A prayer to pray now
Lord Jesus, You told us to go and make disciples of all nations. You said to baptize and to teach. And You promised to be with us always, to the very end of the age.
The work of Your church is to make disciples, not just converts. Teach me to take part in all of it. Help me go. Help me speak. Help me walk with people as they learn to follow You.
The nations include the person next door who does not yet know You. I do not have to travel far to begin. And I will not go alone. You are with me in every room, every conversation, every small act of love.
Begin in me. Send it through me. Stay with me. Your commission is still open, and I want to be part of it.
Amen.
