Creation Prayer
A short, Scripture-shaped bible story prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, in the beginning You made the heavens and the earth. Before anything else existed, You were there. You spoke and the whole world came to be.
Because You made everything, I am not an accident. I am not just stuff floating through empty space. You made me on purpose, and You called Your work good.
The trees outside my window are not just plants. They are Yours. The person sitting across from me is not just a body. She carries Your image.
Open my eyes to see the world the way it really is — Your creation. Help me see its beauty, its pain now, and the day You will make it new again. Teach me to live in this world with a thankful heart.
Amen.
