New Mothers Prayer for December 26th

A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Father, thank You for Christmas. Thank You for new life in my arms and in my heart. I am tired today. The wrapping paper is still on the floor. The first man, Adam, took what was not his. He hid. He blamed. Jesus, You are so different. You did not take. You gave. You did not hide. You came near. You did not blame. You carried it all. Let me live today in Your pattern, not the old one. Help me receive instead of grasp. Help me come to You instead of hiding. Help me carry what is mine to carry instead of pointing at someone else. I am grateful. I am worn. Hold me up this morning. Amen.
