New Mothers Prayer for December 24th

A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Lord Jesus, You gave up everything for us. You left heaven and came to a manger. You took on a body, a home, lost sleep, and hard work for our sake. Tomorrow we remember that night. The new mothers who first held their babies were not far from where I am now. Help me see my season inside Your bigger story. My small giving up of comfort is held inside Your great giving up of glory. You went first. And richness comes back. Amen.
