Father, Psalm 84 says Your people go from strength to strength. Not in one leap. Step by step. I thought I would be further along by now. More rested. More steady. But You did not promise speed. You promised to be with me as I go. The strength I have today is small. Maybe it is just enough to get through this feeding, this hour, this night. That small strength is a real handhold from You. The next strength is on the road ahead. I am tired. I am also grateful. Both are true at the same time. Help me take one step. You are still making me into who I will be. The road continues, and You are on it with me. Amen.
