Father, Your Word says we will be with You forever. The joys I have felt this season have been short. Flashes between feedings. Sweet seconds of the baby asleep on my shoulder. A hymn that came to mind when I did not expect it. These moments are short. Your promise is forever. Let me hold both. The brief sweetness now. The long always to come. The shortness does not make the joy less. It only makes me want more of You. Strengthen my hope. Amen.
