New Mothers Prayer for November 25th
A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Lord Jesus, You stood in the synagogue and said You came to set the captives free. I need that freedom today. Not from something big and dramatic. From the small chains I keep carrying. The thought loop I fall back into. The comparison that catches me off guard. The quiet resentment that builds over ordinary days. You are still the deliverer. Your freedom is not only for the hard things. It is also for this morning's small weight. Snap one chain for me today. Send me out a little freer than I came in. Let freedom be the day's first work. Amen.
