New Mothers Prayer for November 24th
A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, You promised through Isaiah that You would be a place of wide, flowing rivers to us. That means life and plenty and water everywhere. But this afternoon does not look like that at all. This afternoon looks like a half-empty fridge and a baby who only slept thirty minutes. Help me believe the promise is still true, even when all I see is a dry kitchen counter. Let me trust the rivers running under this day. Your provision is not always visible at three in the afternoon. But it is still flowing. Please pour out one stream I can see before this day is over. Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
- Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
