Father, Jacob, worked twenty years for the woman he loved. The work was hard, but it was for love. The work I am doing this season is also for love. The night feedings are not random. The rocking, the walking, and the small repetetive duties are not just chores. They are years served for someone I love. Help me see this work as love, not just duty. Jacob's twenty years were not wasted. My months are not wasted either. Let the love I feel make this work matter. Give me the strength to keep going. Amen.
