New Mothers Prayer for November 11th
A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, You said underneath are the everlasting arms. I have felt like I am sinking in small ways this week. Sinking in the laundry. Sinking in the texts I have not answered. Sinking in the thought that I do not know what I am doing. Underneath the sinking are Your arms. Older than my tiredness. Stronger than the day. They do not let me fall through. Let me feel Your arms hold me even when I cannot feel the floor. Catch me again this morning. Amen.
