New Mothers Prayer for October 18th
A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Psalm 65 says Your paths overflow with good things. Prayer is one of those paths. I have been walking it lightly this season. Help me. Thank You. That is about all I can manage some nights. Let Your goodness overflow anyway. The richness is not in how long I pray. It is in the fact that I come to You at all. Today I will come again. Same tired heart. A few new steps. You said You would scatter small mercies along the way. A baby who finally rests. A quiet moment in the middle of the mess. I will look for them as I go. You are good even when my prayers are short. Amen.
