New Mothers Prayer for October 15th
A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, the prophet Malachi asked, 'Who can stand when You come?' That question used to scare me. It still humbles me. I cannot stand on my own. But I am held up by Christ. The fear of being weighed and found short is real. The peace I have in Christ is older and more real. Let me move through this day as someone who cannot stand alone, and who is being held up by You. I am tired. I am grateful. Both are true at once. You are the one who makes me right. Amen.
