New Mothers Prayer for October 9th

A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Father, You are able to keep me from falling. I have been close to falling this week — into discouragement, into impatience, into comparing my home to other homes. You are able to keep me. The keeping, Yours, not mine. Your Word does not say I will not stumble. It says You will not let me fall. Let that be the steady thing under the wobble. Catch me at the trip. Set me on my feet. Send me back to the kitchen. Amen.
