New Mothers Prayer for October 5th
A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, in 1 Kings, Elijah was tired and afraid. Before his long journey, You fed him. Before he had to be strong, You gave him food and rest. That is how You work. You feed us before the hard part comes. So let me receive what You have set in front of me this morning. One verse to hold onto. One short prayer to steady me. And the real breakfast at my real table. The long days ahead are not mine to power through alone. They are Yours to carry me through. Feed me before noon. Then walk me into the rest of the week. Amen.
