New Mothers Prayer for September 10th
A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Lord Jesus, in Mark, You went up the mountain and called the ones You wanted. You chose me. I don't have to earn this. I keep comparing my season to everyone else's — the friend with the ministry, the cousin with the career, the woman online who already lost the baby weight. Let me stop standing next to them and start standing under Your call. You called me to this hallway, this hour, this baby. The mountain You led me up is small. But it is still Yours. Let me come when You call, even if the calling is just to start the laundry. Amen.
