A prayer to pray now
Father, You said to call to You, and You would answer. You would show me great and mighty things I do not know. This morning, the great and mighty things feel far away. So I am asking for the smaller version. I am calling from the rocking chair. From the kitchen. From wherever I am when I do not know what comes next. Answer me in the way that fits this day. Show me what I do not know — even if it is just the next right minute. I will call again before this day is done. Amen.
