New Mothers Prayer for August 31st

A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Father, You said Your arm is strong enough to lean on. There is not much else to hold me up this week. My body is tired. My schedule is a mess. My friends are busy. That verse used to sound big, like it was for kings and nations. Tonight it just means this: Your arm holds me through another night of broken sleep. Your arm holds the baby when I cannot hold her any longer. Help me trust You with plain words. Not my strength. Not my plans. Not even my prayers. Just Your arm. That is enough to lean on. Amen.
