Father, You promised that Christ goes first. The day I am bracing for, He is already in. The doctor’s appointment this afternoon, He is already in. The phone call I do not want to make, He is already in. I don’t have to break the way myself. I just have to follow. Let me follow at the small, ordinary pace I can manage—not run ahead, not lag behind, just walk after You. The path is open because You went first. Amen.
