New Mothers Prayer for August 21st
A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, You said that when we give, we will be given to. This week I have been turned inward. My cup is small, and the needs are big, and I have been holding on to what little I have. Help me give something small today. Send the text I have been putting off. Say the thank You I have forgotten. Notice the tired mother next to me at the doctor's office. Not because I have a lot to give, but because I trust You even when my cup is low. Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
