New Mothers Prayer for August 18th
A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, the strangers in my quiet this week are not armies. They are the lit phone, the to-do list, the argument I keep having with myself, the half-watched show. Please sweep them out gently. Not with shame, just with truth. This inner room was always meant to be Yours, and I have let small things move in. Give me one quiet corner this morning. The baby's crib is just one room over. Let my quiet be one room over from my noise. Amen.

- Make it personal. Pause where a line meets your day and name the person, fear, or hope it touches before God.
