New Mothers Prayer for August 17th
A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Your mercy is simple and strong. It lets me come back to this prayer again, even after I have already tried two times today. It does not count how long I lasted before I lost my temper. It held me at three in the morning when I started crying over the crib. Let me sit in that mercy for one minute before I keep going. The day is long, but Your mercy is older than the day. Amen.
