New Mothers Prayer for August 4th
A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Your Word says that the people who know You will be strong and take action. I do not feel strong this morning. I feel braced. But the strength comes from knowing You, not from how my day feels at six in the morning. Let knowing You be my source today. You are faithful. You are patient. You are not ashamed of the small, tired things I bring You. Knowing You carries a strength I cannot feel on my own. Walk me out of the bedroom and into the kitchen with it. Amen.
