You have not gone quiet because my prayers are short and my singing is hummed. You are bound to me in a covenant You do not break. Even on the nights when nothing in me feels held, the bond holds. Let that older promise steady me through the next feeding. I am married to You. I have not been left, even when the night feels so long. Amen.
