New Mothers Prayer for July 7th

A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Father, I come to You this morning, tired and grateful. You know how much I need help. You hear me even when I can barely find the words. Pray for the pastor at our church, who does not know how often I doze off during the sermon. Pray for the pediatrician who answered the late call last week. Pray for the friend who texted to check on me. Strengthen them. Send rest to whoever is more tired than I am right now. You promised to give rest to the weary. Hold them close. And let me not be too tired to remember the people who pray me through. Amen.
