A prayer to pray now
Lord Jesus, I am not bringing You a well-ordered soul this morning. My sleep was broken. My head has carried a hundred small worries since dawn. You prayed in John 17, “Sanctify them through Your truth.” So I take the truth simply today. You love this baby more than I do. The dishes are not the measure of my life. I am Yours before I am anyone's mother. Make me honest with You as this day goes on. That is the sanctification I need. Not a finer prayer, just a truer one. Amen.
