Father, the morning has come, and the baby is already awake. Your help does not run out. You said living water keeps flowing in summer and in winter, and I am asking for that same steady gift again today. Steady me through the small repeating work of this morning — the cup of coffee, the diaper, the bottle, the door. When this small hand wraps around my finger, let me feel the good in it. Let me serve this little one without holding my breath for the next quiet moment. Receive my hands as they are. Help me keep the next promise I make today. Amen.
