New Mothers Prayer for June 13th

A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Father, Your Word says that anyone who is thirsty can come and take the water of life as a gift. A real gift. No price. No test to pass at the door.

I have been acting like Your grace has a line I need to wait in like the door for tired mothers is around back, with a longer wait.

But it is not. The water is free. The door is open. You invite anyone who will come.

Today I take. Not just once. As a habit. Whenever the day gets thin, I will come back and take. Whenever my patience runs low, I will come back and take. No apology. No waiting list.

Each time, receive me as Your child, not like I owe You something.

Amen.
