New Mothers Prayer for June 8th
A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Your Word says the war was of God. The fight was not won by human hands.
The fights in this house are not won by my hands either. My patience runs thin. My marriage feels the strain. Some nights, my faith feels small and far away.
But when I have won small victories lately, it was not by my own strength. It was You in me. The kind word that came out instead of the sharp one. The choice to open Your Word instead of my phone. The courage to say sorry first.
That was You. Not me.
Help me stop fighting my own battles alone. The war is Yours. I follow. The wins are Yours. I thank You.
Amen.
