New Mothers Prayer for June 6th
A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, I have not been arguing with You out loud. But inside, I have been upset about this year. The complaints in my head are real, even if I do not say them.
I lay them down now. Not because I am bad. But because I am honest. I have been small and selfish. I have wanted more pity than I need. I have told myself I deserve more help than I have gotten.
Forgive me. I do not need big words. I just need to turn back to You.
Now I am quiet. You speak next.
Amen.
