New Mothers Prayer for May 28th

A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Father, You see a version of me that no one in this house has ever seen. The patient one. The whole one. The one with clear eyes. In Your sight, she already exists.

That changes how I face this morning. The exhausted me is not the final draft. You are still shaping me into something new.

I cannot finish that work myself. I do not have to. I just stay near You and let the slow work go on.

When I am hard on myself, bring me back to the picture You hold. The me that is coming. The me that, in Your sight, already is.

Amen.
