The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, Your Word says that You do not turn away my prayer. Not one of my prayers has been turned away.
That is hard to believe some days. Some prayers I have prayed for years and still see no answer. The friend I have prayed for, who is still wandering. The healing I asked for that has not come.
But "not turned away" does not mean "answered exactly the way I asked." It means received. Held. Considered. Woven into Your work.
None of my prayers have been thrown out. They are with You. The answers will come when they come, in the form You choose.
I will keep praying. Not because I have to convince You. Because You have not turned me away.
Amen.
