New Mothers Prayer for May 15th

A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Father, Your Word says all who believe are made right with You. Not someday. The moment we believe.

I am made right today. Even with the dishes in the sink. Even with the prayer I did not finish yesterday. Even with the hard feelings still between me and the one I love.

This does not let me stop trying. It holds me steady. From here, I say I am sorry. From here, I try again. From here, I love better tomorrow.

If I had to earn my place with You this week, I would already be lost. But I do not. Christ already paid it all. I am made right.

Let me live today like someone whose story is already written in stone. Not worried. Not trying to prove myself. Just thankful, doing the next thing, and Yours.

I am so tired. And I am so glad. Both are true right now.

Amen.
