New Mothers Prayer for May 7th
A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.
The prayer
A prayer to pray now
Father, in Matthew 12, it says big crowds came to Jesus and He healed them all. Not some. All.
So I bring my small things to that same healing today. My body that still does not feel right after birth. The low mood that has hung on for days. My friend fighting cancer. The quiet place my marriage has become.
I do not know how You will heal each one. Some will be made whole. Some will be carried. Some will change in ways I cannot understand yet.
But Jesus does not turn anyone away. I am not too small a need. My friend is not too hard a case.
Heal us the way is best. I bring everyone I love and place them in line behind me, trusting You will not pass them by.
Amen.
