New Mothers Prayer for April 26th

A short, Scripture-shaped new mothers prayer for an ordinary moment of Christian faith.

The prayer

A prayer to pray now

Father, You said to remember You. The table. The bread. The wine.

I have not been to the table much this season. Sometimes I make it to church and slip out for a feeding before communion. Sometimes I stay home because the baby is not well.

But You are with me in the ordinary moments. The morning I read a verse and stop to think about the cross. The moment I bow my head over a sandwich. The quiet thank-You while the bottles pile up in the sink.

Let me remember You today, in the kitchen, with what is in my hands. The table will be there when I am back.

Amen.

  3. Carry it with you. Keep one sentence with you — on your phone or in your pocket — and return to it when the day gets loud.
